Our clients may create any group of folders that contain downloads. Extensions supported for these downloads are things like Zip, Exe, Mp3, PDF, you can allow users to anonymously download files you have placed there. Doing this does not violate your web sites security and still offers unknown users to download. If you wish to do this with FTP protocol we can setup a read only FTP site to these folders as well. However many people like the directory browsing method of allowing users to simply do this via HTTP, as it is clearly more seamless to the end user.
