Defrag Windows 2008
What happened to the GUI for Defragging my hard disks with Windows 2008?
Actually the GUI is not really necessary as it is replaced by a command line or scheduled approach. Previous versions of Windows server could only be done with a third party defrag tool. Now you can pretty much just set it and forget it.
Type in Defrag in the search>
The Disk Defragmenter Scheduler will pop up
Select the day of the week and time you want it do defrag. Make sure to select the disks you want defragged.
