A web 2.0 content management system (WCMS or Web CMS) is a Web application, for creating and managing HTML content. It is used to manage and control a dynamic collection of Web material (HTML documents and their associated images). A WCMS facilitates content creation, content control, editing, and many essential Web maintenance functions.

Typically the software provides authoring (and other) tools designed to allow users with little or no knowledge of programming languages or markup languages to create and manage content with relative ease of use.

The insitecreation CMS uses one of the most robust databases SQL 2008 to store content, metadata, and media that might be needed by the CMS system. We also support open source systems like Joomla, Drupal, TYPO3, and WordPress for our Linux servers. However, we prefer asp.Net.

Our Challenge

Is to offer a CMS system which is easy enough for anyone to use. Then do it at no additional cost. While this is easy to do with Linux and open source applications.

We offer a .net 3.5 CMS for any of our clients to use with a windows 2008 SQL database all included on a windows 2008 server for $5.95 per month. Web and database size limits are imposed.

The application can be installed to your site on request. If you cannot get involved in learning some level of HTML and CSS then you will need a developer to get that part established for you. From that point on adding content to your site controlling access, editing exsiting content can be as simple as editing an HTML email.

Our goal is to merge those businesses who do not have the budget for a full blown dynamic web site into the mainstream. We want to remove as many excuses as possible for small business not to compete on the web.
